A bite of Oxford…The Vaults Cafe

Sitting outside the Vaults Cafe with your morning cappuccino is the Oxford equivalent of sitting in Piazza San Marco in Venice. The iconic view, the central location in a fascinating city, the opportunity to people watch; all without the same price tag. Even without the view of All Souls and the Radcliffe Camera I would go to the Vaults for the great coffee and tasty food.

The cafe is housed in the University Church, Saint Mary Virgin. The oldest part of the University Church, the tower, dates to 1320. As you look at the church from Radcliffe Square the Vaults Cafe is on the ground floor to the left of the tower.

The sourcing of ingredients and the menu design is strongly aligned to sustainable and healthy living.

Have a look at their website to find out more.

Coffee beans are shade grown, so the trees are not cleared to grow plants. Cappuccino is my favourite - the milk is frothy without being burned and the coffee is mellow.
